1. Product Overview
The Anti-Skid Car Park Decking Surfacing System is a heavy-duty, resin-bonded wearing course engineered specifically for multi-storey car parks, exposed rooftop parking decks, spiral helical ramps, turning bays, and high-traffic transit aisles. By combining high-tenacity polymer adhesives (polyurethane ) with ultra-hard, wear-resistant aggregates (calcined bauxite, quartz sand, or colored ceramic granules), the system delivers superior skid resistance, waterproofing protection, crack-bridging performance, and tire squeal reduction.
2. Key Features & Advantages
- Exceptional Skid Resistance (High Friction): Delivers a wet Pendulum Test Value (PTV/SRV drastically reducing vehicle braking distances and preventing skidding on steep ramps and sharp corners under wet or oily conditions.
- Heavy-Duty Wear & Dynamic Load Bearing: Formulated to withstand constant tire turning shear, heavy wheel loads, and stop-and-go traffic without cracking, rutting, or delamination.
- Tire Squeal & Noise Dampening: The specialized aggregate macro-texture effectively eliminates sharp tire screeching and reduces running noise by 5–8 dB.
- Monolithic Waterproofing & Chemical Barrier: Forms a continuous, seamless protective membrane that shields concrete slabs and rebar against water, de-icing salts, engine fuels, brake fluids, and automotive oils.
- UV & Weather Stability (Aliphatic System): Outdoor exposed deck systems utilize UV-stable aliphatic polyurethane seal coats that resist yellowing, chalking, and degradation from intense solar exposure.
- Rapid Return to Service: Fast curing kinetics allow quick turnaround times, minimizing downtime in busy commercial car parks.

4. Typical Application Areas
- Access Ramps & Helical Spirals: Steep gradients requiring maximum traction.
- Exposed Top Decks: Commercial mall rooftops, airport parking facilities (demanding UV resistance and crack bridging).
- Underground Driving Aisles & Turning Circles: High-shear traffic zones.
- Toll Plazas & Ticket Barrier Approaches: High-frequency braking zones.
- EV Charging Bays & Pedestrian Walkways: Color-coded zones for safety identification and aesthetic differentiation.
5. Installation Method & Application Steps
- Surface Preparation: Mechanically prepare the substrate via captive shot-blasting or diamond grinding to achieve a CSP 3–5 profile. Ensure the concrete is structurally sound, clean, and dry (moisture content < 5%).
- Priming (Optional/Recommended): Apply a penetrating primer to seal concrete pores and enhance inter-coat adhesion.
- Resin Binder Application: Uniformly squeegee or roller-apply the polyurethane binder across the deck at 1.5–2.5 kg/m2
- Aggregate Broadcast: Immediately scatter anti-skid aggregates to full saturation/rejection onto the wet binder at 5.0–7.0kg/m2
- Excess Aggregate Recovery: Allow the resin to cure 2–4hours, then sweep and vacuum up excess loose aggregate.
