Product Overview

EASYBOND is a premium single-component, moisture-curing polyurethane (PU) adhesive designed for high-strength industrial bonding. The adhesive cures seamlessly by reacting with ambient humidity or trace moisture on substrate surfaces. For high-speed production lines, an artificial water mist can be lightly applied to significantly accelerate the curing process.

Once fully cured, the adhesive layer forms an insoluble, infusible cross-linked structure that offers exceptional thermal stability, weather resistance, and structural integrity. It is widely utilized in the door manufacturing sector for the cross-bonding of steel or aluminum sheets, wood, engineered boards, and various fireproof or thermal insulation core materials.

Application Instructions

1.Surface Preparation：Step 1。

Ensure all bonding surfaces are completely clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, dust, rust, and other contaminants.

2.Adhesive Application：Step 2。

Apply the adhesive evenly to one of the substrate surfaces using a toothed spreader, notched trowel, or mechanical roller coater.

3.Accelerated Curing (Optional)：Step 3。

To shorten the pressing cycle, lightly spray a fine water mist onto the applied adhesive layer before joining the parts.

4.Bonding & Pressing：Step 4。

Assemble the components immediately after coating. No open time or flashing off is required. Apply uniform pressure using a press machine until the adhesive reaches initial handling strength.

5.Equipment Cleaning：Step 5。

Clean all application tools, rollers, and spillage immediately after use using Ethyl Acetate. Once fully cured, the adhesive can only be removed mechanically.

Handling & Storage Precautions

Critical Moisture Protection: Because this formula is highly reactive to humidity, containers must be tightly sealed immediately after each use. Exposure to air will cause surface skinning and progressive curing inside the container.

Long-Term Storage: For extended shelf life, it is highly recommended to purge the headspace with nitrogen gas before resealing the container.
Storage Environment: Store in a dry, well-ventilated indoor warehouse. Keep away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and incompatible materials.
