Single-Component Moisture-Curing Polyurethane (PU) Adhesive is the industry-standard choice for manufacturing Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs).
It cures by reacting with ambient humidity and moisture on the substrate surfaces, delivering high-strength structural bonding between facial boards—such as OSB (Oriented Strand Board), Fiber Cement Board, or MGO (Magnesium Oxide Board)—and insulation cores like EPS, XPS, or Mineral/Rock Wool.
Key Technical Advantages
High Shear & Tensile Strength: Cures into a tough, durable, and resilient bond line capable of enduring long-term structural loads and heavy wind pressures.
Superior Weather & Water Resistance: Excellent resistance to moisture, chemicals, and temperature fluctuations, meeting D4 durability standard (EN 204/205).
100% Solid Content & Solvent-Free: Contains zero VOCs or volatile solvents, preventing chemical attack or erosion on sensitive core materials like EPS and XPS.
Micro-Foaming Gap-Filling: Slightly expands during the curing process to penetrate and seal surface irregularities, voids, and porous OSB texture for full surface contact.

| Parameter | Standard Specification |

Water Mist Activation: Because curing relies on humidity, applying a fine water mist (approx. 5–10 g/m²) on the adhesive line prior to pressing significantly accelerates setting speed and enhances bond uniformness.
Pressing Pressure: Maintain a continuous pressure of 0.2 – 0.5 MPa during cold pressing (depending on the compressive strength of the insulation core) until initial set strength is reached.
Viscosity & Line Speed Adaptation:
Automated Spray / Extrusion Lines: Lower viscosity (3,000 – 5,000 mPa·s) with a shorter open time is recommended to maximize production line speed.
Manual Roller / Batch Cold Pressing: Higher viscosity (6,000 – 8,000 mPa·s) with an extended open time is ideal to prevent premature skinning during manual assembly.
